The dematerialization of supplier and customer invoices has been a lever for optimizing andautomating processes for decades, but the rate of adoption is still uneven within companies.
Successive regulations in France , with the Finance Act 2020 and then 2024 (introducing the concepts of e-invoicing and e-reporting), and in Europe, with the VIDA (VAT In a Digital Age) directive, will make electronic invoicing mandatory for all companies subject to VAT.
